OJO ROJO opened in April 2016 as Bournemouth's most exciting new restaurant.
I first worked on the project in October 2013, creating mood boards and some very sketchy concepts to get the ideas started on how the interior of their new space might look. In March 2014 I went on to design highly detailed concept renders of the space to help the guys to secure funding from investors for the project and commitment from the venue.
Trevor and JJ (the founders of OJO ROJO) took over the reigns from here, creating in depth mood boards and Pinterest reference for the construction team, scouring the internet and building sites for materials they could reclaim and project managing the build themselves. The result is really something they should be very proud of. Finished to an immaculate standard and hotly reviewed in both local and national news.
