Kevin Timon Hill
Production Designer / Supervising Art Director
I am a Production Designer and Supervising Art Director for film and television, combining visual and conceptual design with technical understanding and the practical delivery of ambitious sets.
My background is in Industrial Design Engineering. I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2008 with a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering, following a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
I began in multidisciplinary design, working as a Senior Interior Designer at Soho-based studio Montage on interiors, retail environments and point-of-sale projects. Since 2012, my work has focused primarily on the film and television Art Department, progressing through Senior Art Direction and Supervising Art Direction to Production Design.
Across stage and location work, I bring together design development, engineering judgement, construction knowledge and art department leadership. The result is work that can move from the first visual idea through complex build, alteration and delivery on set.

Progression
Industrial Design Engineering → multidisciplinary design → Film & Television Art Department → Senior Art Direction → Supervising Art Direction → Production Design
How I work
The work is grounded in strong design thinking, but always resolved with the realities of space, camera, construction, materials, scheduling and the wider production in mind.
I have worked with major directors and productions on worlds that need to feel visually specific while remaining flexible, buildable and ready for the demands of filming.
